Stanley Deason Sports Centre required a full sports hall refurbishment to upgrade an existing surface that was no longer fit for purpose in a high-use community facility.
The hall needed a solution that could improve performance, extend lifespan, and stay manageable to maintain, while supporting a wide range of activities in a busy schedule.
Reflex installed a Granwood overlay system with an integrated Pulastic elastic pad and a seamless polyurethane top layer to deliver a shock-absorbing, durable surface designed for consistent use.
Works were completed efficiently with minimal disruption to operations, ensuring the sports hall returned to use quickly and with a clean, consistent finish.
The refurbished floor now supports improved comfort and a better playing experience, with a low-maintenance finish suited to community use and a system designed to meet EN14904 requirements.
A seamless PU surface provides a clean aesthetic suitable for multi-use sport and community activity, supporting long-term performance and durability.
A sports hall flooring refurbishment for a council-owned facility, delivered to support high footfall and multi-use activity. The upgraded system balances shock absorption, resilience, and long-term manageability for both operator and client.
