Sevenoaks Prep School needed a complete sports hall refurbishment to bring new life to their 500m² facility. Their existing Junckers timber floor was no longer fit for purpose, offering poor shock absorption and showing significant signs of wear. The goal was to upgrade the surface with a modern system that delivered safety, performance and visual impact.
Reflex Sports was selected to deliver a high-performance flooring solution tailored to the needs of a busy independent school, improving playability, resilience and appearance.
We specified a complete overlay system using a Pulastic® elastic pad and seamless polyurethane (PU) surface. This education flooring solution provides excellent shock absorption, comfort underfoot and a long-lasting, low-maintenance finish, ideal for school environments with heavy daily use.
To reflect the school’s identity, we also integrated a custom logo into the floor design, adding a bold and personal touch that lifts the entire space.
Installation was carefully scheduled to avoid disruption to term-time activity, with a rapid turnaround that ensured the hall was ready for use without delay.
